Interesting post over on kos this afternoon, inspired by l'Affaire Propagannon, about how blogging might transform muckracking investigative journalism -- and there's even a lovely neologism, blogracking, to describe the new phenomenon.

there is an essay in the monday newyork times on the increasing influence of bloggers on news media and corporate/ public interaction concerning truth in information.

CNN did a big story on it this afternoon, too. Definitely the M$M (aka mainstream media) is having some kind of freakout about the blogosphere (1) bypassing them and holding them to account, and/or (2) propagating deceptions without professional filters. We should talk more about this in class tomorrow.
